MediWales Connects Conference 2025

We will be holding our annual NHS Connects conference on the 17th June, where we will welcome over 400 delegates to Cardiff!
NHS colleagues from across Wales, local companies, research groups and the wider industry sector will join to share clinical innovation in practice to improve patient outcomes.
The conference includes an exhibition, keynote presentations, showcases and workshops, and networking opportunities.
The aims of the conference are to:
- Highlight and showcase the excellent work being carried out by the health and care communities in Wales.
- Improve collaborative working between the health boards, industry and research communities.
- Raise the profile of NHS Wales and clinical innovation across the UK.
- Support closer working relationships between industry, NHS and research groups and clinical trials capabilities.

Health Services Research UK Conference 2025

The 18th Annual Health Services Research UK (HSR UK) Conference will take place at Newcastle University from 2 - 3 July 2025.
Our conference committee is developing an exciting programme with high quality speakers from across the UK, covering the most pressing topics from across the health and social care services research community. Expect thought-provoking plenary sessions, practical and interactive workshops, learning and development sessions, and the opportunity as always to showcase and discuss your research.
HSR UK is dedicated to the promotion of health services and social care research in policy and practice. Our annual conference is open to everyone interested in health and social care services and systems research, and offers you the opportunity to:
- Engage with cutting-edge research: through our multi-disciplinary programme including a wide range of research presentations and interactive workshops selected for their importance and impact, alongside plenary sessions given by leaders in research, evaluation, policy and practice.
- Build your networks: throughout the event you will have the chance to create links across research, policy and practice communities, form new collaborations, and engage with decision makers.
- Reach a wide audience: participants attend from universities and research institutes, research funding agencies, government, policy think tanks, NHS and social care bodies, key peer reviewed journals, industry, consultancy, and the third sector.
